Boundary Waters Blynx....... A touch of the wild in your living room : Home

I would like to introduce "The Blynx" They are a hybrid cross of the Highland Lynx and The American Bobtail, This cross Has also been known to have happend in the wild, Rare but a few people claim to have see the mix. This i can somewhat beleive. However in general where the Lynx is the bobcats will leave, because they seek the same pray and there is just not enough to go around. This would appear to make the breeding less possible. My Husband and I breed highland Lynx and American Bobtail cat's. In our breeding we decided to cross the two breeds and have come up with "The Blynx". Some of our kittens come out more bobcat looking this is a straight ear with the small tips on the top of the ear and more of a point to the lower jaw also they have a more jacked-up (A lift kit as my husband calls it) look of their hind end.

The highland Lynx in it's self is truley the closest one can get to a legal "wild Cat" without a haveing to deal with the goverment or building a sanctuary. I know this because I've had the DNR at my door with lot's of questions. The Highland Lynx in its original cross mix, is mixed with a jungle curl, This leads to a curl of the ear and a longer body. Also the highland lynx walks with it's head lowered, as if they are on the prowel.
